Bernie McAdam is an Irish Artist, now living and working in Co Louth after spending many years living in Dublin and London .
Bernie's paintings reflect change - in environments and peoples' lives and how it affects all involved. She tries to capture the energy that emanates from such flux in her work and its important that this is movement and life evident in her art. Themes such as environmental issues are also a constant theme but she likes to stimulate the visual dialogue in a humourous way in most of her work - hence the appearance of forlorn cows and bewildered sheep in strange poses!

Dublin was a major source for her creative inspiration but she is also exploring the fantastic patters and colours that are brimming over in the urban and rural landscapes of County Louth.

Bernie works in acrylics, oils, mixed media and watercolour. Her work is included in collections nationally, the UK, Europe, Australia and America.
