Welcome to the faces  of many!  Here you will see examples of caricatures of various people which Bernie was commissioned to do by clients familiar with her work.  She will ask for photographs of the “victim” and will seek a list of peculiarities, interests, hobbies etc.which makes that person special.  Bernie will then incorporate these into the painting.  These paintings make a great original present and clients have asked for work to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries to name but a few.

She is very interested in working on “straight” portraits and loves to do these directly from sittings, although she will also work from photographs, when necessary.  The medium used varies from oil , watercolour, pencil drawing to acrylic.
